Professional social network LinkedIn has announced the launch of LinkedIn Contacts, a product that allows users to integrate contact lists with their LinkedIn network.

The new program is offered on both the LinkedIn website and a brand new app that the corporate has created specifically for it so users can “stay in contact with [their] contacts wherever [they] work.” Features include detailed contact integration from email accounts, calendars and address books, in addition to alerts for birthdays, job changes and other events.

On the blog post introducing the hot program, the corporate stated that they might be sending invitations to aim out the LinkedIn Contacts to pick US members over the following few weeks.
