Digital marketing really is taking over in the marketing and advertising world. More and more companies are investing the majority if not all of their budget in online and digital marketing and doing less and less offline, but is there still a place for offline marketing?
Although this percentage is shrinking, there is always a certain amount of people that will use the Yellow pages or look in local papers etc for companies offering what they need, if you stop offline marketing altogether, then you may lose a large majority of these people. There is often a need to weight up which form of marketing will get you the best return on your investment. With the likes of Analytics and trackers, it can be easy to see how successful your online marketing campaigns are but this can be a little more tricky offline and will often rely on you asking your customers where they heard about you or setting up dedicated phone numbers that are only used in offline advertisements.
Offline marketing can still work well for many companies but it is recommended that it is done alongside online marketing and reviewed often to check that it is still worth investing in.
