Skype has announced on their company blog that the preview version of the Skype app for the Blackberry Z10 is now available for download on Blackberry World.

The preview version will include the standard Skype features, similar to video and voice calling, IMs and text messages, and contact calls to landlines and cellphones. The recent app also syncs Skype contacts with a user’s BlackBerry contacts, enabling chats and access to contact info directly from the BlackBerry phonebook.

The company further stressed within the blog that these features “are not yet final”, hinting that more impressive features are yet to return within the near future. “We’ve been working closely with BlackBerry to bring our Skype for Android app to the BlackBerry 10 platform with a purpose to bring each of the amazing Skype features to the device.
